Delete your account
The fastest way is in the app: Settings → Delete account. It is immediate and needs nobody's help. This page is for when the app is gone from your phone and you still want everything removed.
What gets deleted
- Your account and the email address attached to it.
- Your copy history — every copy you made and the settings you chose.
- Your synced recipes, and every synced photo, ours and our storage provider's.
- Any sign-in sessions, so every device is signed out.
What does not
A DishCopy Plus subscription is bought and managed through Apple's App Store or Google Play, not by us — deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in their settings, or you will keep being charged for a subscription with no account behind it.
Export first if you want to keep anything
Deletion cannot be undone, and we cannot bring a recipe back afterwards. If you still have the app, Settings → Export takes a second and produces a file you own and can read without us.
How long it takes
We email the address you enter below to check that it is yours — otherwise anyone could delete anyone's account by typing their address into a form. Once you reply, everything is removed within 30 days, usually the same week.

Enter the address you sign in with. We will write to it to confirm the request is really yours.
Deletion is permanent. If you are not sure, close this page — nothing happens until you confirm by mail.
